The Association represents businesses operating in the fields of commerce, tourism, services and professions in the Milan area and province.

It constitutes a meeting point for owners of small and medium-sized businesses and safeguards their interests.

It supplies services to companies and assists them in developing their business activities, supporting the operators in dealing with company problems of every kind.

The Association is a member of Confcommercio.

The Association in a territorial context

The main offices of the Association are at 47/49 Corso Venezia, Milan. It also has offices at nos. 45, 51, 53 of the same street, as well as in via Serbelloni, at no. 7. In addition to these it has two non-central branches, one at 54 Via Lombroso, in the Ortomercato area, and the other at 15/17 Via Sangro (near Piazza Udine).

On a provincial level the Association has 19 offices from which it carries out its work in favour of member companies, and 19 authorised branches in the minor municipalities.

The member associations

The Association is made up of 146 sector associations and 19 associations in the province of Milan.

To these are added approximately 61 associations of local neighbourhood businesses in the city of Milan, which focus on promoting and developing commercial activities within the city.

The total number of companies making up the Organisation amounts to over 50,000, while the number of individuals exceeds 220,000.

Examples of the some of the sectors represented include catering (restaurants, bars, etc.), textiles and clothing, itinerant trade, gifts and household goods, furniture and foodstuffs.
